SecureDrop

A WeTransfer that actually keeps your files private. Zero-knowledge, end-to-end encryption — sealed on your device before it ever reaches us.

Request early access

What SecureDrop can see

Subject: Q3 due-diligence — Project Northgate

File: northgate-disclosure.zip

Everything SecureDrop sees: nothing. The bar doesn’t lift on hover — we don’t hold the key, and neither does anyone who intercepts it.

How it works

Three steps. Zero knowledge.

01

Encrypt in the browser

Files are encrypted on your device before upload. The keys never leave it.

02

Transfer the ciphertext

Only the encrypted blob crosses the network. In transit and at rest, it’s unreadable.

03

Decrypt with the key

Only someone with the key can open the file. We are not that someone — by design.

Why it matters

Confidentiality as the baseline.

  • Files are encrypted before they leave your device.

  • GSI cannot read your files — and cannot be compelled to hand over what it does not hold.

  • Built for legal, financial and investigative work where confidentiality is the baseline.
